Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist – Tamil

The Tamil Filmfare Best Lyricist Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Tamil films.

The award was first given in 2005. Except for the years - 2006 and 2010, all the Filmfare awards for Best Tamil Lyricist have gone for the movies composed by Harris Jayaraj
