Personally I don't believe any newspaper advertisements - be it 21st or 20th century. For Mankatha and Billa, you would hardly find 100 day paper ads. It doesn't mean they were not box office hits. OTOH, I will seriously doubt anyone consistently providing newspaper ads for almost 80% of their total movies. We have live examples even in the current generation and I hope people can understand the "context"
