y is he not using his usual combo in his hindi film???? ...........and plucking a person from failure combo??? .......hmmmm........

(btw, i dont think i need to go into audio sales of BOYS and TI.......y i'm saying this is ARR had more than done his job.......theres no reason y his name shuld be included in that mishap......padam nalla illaina MD enna panna mudiyum??? )

Normally, an average moviefan will go to a movie based on director / MD / Hero / Heroine etc !

so, A film from Shankar + ARR combo will generate much hype and my point was even such a big budget combo film couldn't beat this one

It was one the combo & the film and not against ARR

Selva - ARR combo is an interesting one. Selva is known for extracting good music and I am sure the songs will be top-class.
