He is definetly more than a decent singer... vizhigalil paattu ellam romba high pitchla pisiru thattama paadi iruppar... esp when he sings Impulanum en manamum enakkethiraai seyal paduthe...

he is damn good.. he sang another song in Thotti Jaya (yaaridamum) which is a good one.. HJ used the telugu version KK (jyothika / asin solo i.e. instead of oru ooril) tune in this... Thotti Jeya song - yaaridamum thOndravillai idhupOl has been sung very well, and it is one of my favourites of HJ.

Stranded in the streets - in Nala Dhamayanthi is also a good composition. I like that song a lot. Kamal's rendition needs special mention. One of the rarely mentioned good renditions of Kamal.
