PL : I agree with what you have said. Patriotic fervour one can have for one's motherland, but being a Fanatic is not good. Likewise each person can have his or her favorite actors/icons/thalaivars, but must not impose their own idolism on others, like a fanatic. Hubbers / fans can have heated debates, but it must not go to the extent of vulgarity (as was witnessed very recently @ Hub). After all, such viewpoints are purely subjective, based on each individual's tastes, upbringing, likes & dislikes, so many factors.
But what is the panacea to resolve such kinda misplaced Fanaticism ? Especially in online forums like Hub, Orkut etc ? Can anyone suggest some solutions?
