Eerum postponed to Sep 11

Shankar's 'S' productions forthcoming thriller Eerum which was to release on August 28 has now been postponed to September 11.

The film directed by Arivazhagu has Mirugam fame Aadhi in a cop's role along with Sindhu Menon, Nanda and Saranya Mohan.

Shankar feels that September 11 is a better date and is counting on Eerum a lot as his last two films under his banner were commercial failures.

During the audio launch of the film which has music by Thaman, Shankar had said: "Arivuazhagan has put his heart and soul and given a film of mesmerizing quality. His combination with the cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsan is amazing."

Now it looks almost certain that Eerum will be clashing with Moserbaer Entertainments youth musical Kanden Kadhalai, featuring Bharath and Tamannaah, which is likely to release on the same day.
