As far as his acting goes, he was quite limited. But he did really well in mouna ragam, nenjathai kiLLAthey, nooRavadhu naaL, Gopurangal saayvathillai etc. Yes i liked his comedy. He can be funny unintentionally also but thats mostly in songs.
