Shanmughasundaram is a weak candidate in that he is of the AVM Rajan school of overacting more than anything else.
Enough examples have been quoted here - KaNNA unai thEdugirEn quoted my mrsrajan is a prime example. Basically, I have recorded in my mind his rendition of "sangeetha mEdaiya sAkkadaiyakka pArkarEngaLA?". That remains his template for any dialogue delivery - a enigmatic smile added if it is a fun expression, and the standard constipated expression if it is a serious dialogue.
