1. Aalavandhan: Not that the movie was a trash or anything. But the kind of expectations I had and what I eventually saw on the screen were way off. The pre-release hype was colossal. After watching it first time, I felt it was not worth the hype. Idhulla kaamedy enna na, I first saw the Hindi version Abhay (within 2 days of its release) with my NI friends. During interval, I was hiding for a cover from my NI friends!

Aalavandhan is great in parts but as a complete package it fell way short of my expectations.

2. Mumbai Express: The less I talk about this the more better.

Chandramukhi team in their credits slide thanked Kamal Hassan. Only after watching Mumbai Express, I kind of understood why CM team thanked KH before displaying the titles!
