I think its mahesh bhatt. I think its a remake of an english movie. (unfaithful?) .

Yeah, It is a remake of Unfaithful ! I haven't seen the film, but some clips

and wow !! The director has copied everything , even how the guy(the french guy in Unfaithful) gets his t-shirt off
