I've picked Vairamuthu more for his non-cinematic work - his poetries, write ups, stories etc.. Yes, I've read his Intha kulathil kallerinthavargal. It is v. good.

i think, you have enough time to read such kind of books. If i have time, i will read Bharathi's work first and then move to others Intha KuLathil Kal ERinthavargaL is lovely. Read thannEEr thEsam, his poetries ( cannot specify individually - ellaamE vairams and muthus), kallikaattu ithigaasam, karuvaachi kaaviyam etc etc..
