On those days (During Maharajaa's Periods) no buildings are allowed to built above the Height of the Tower of the Temple of that Town.

No power can break the Temple Gopuram except Lightning or Thunder.

So Kalasaas are placed on Every Temple only in a Motive to save not only the temple but also to save all the Houses of that Town.

" Gopura Tharisanam Kodi Punniya " means if Gopura is safe all houses will be safe. It is sure and certain because the Town is protected by the Temple.
