In my humble opinion, best prime minister India ever had was Narasimha Rao. If not for his finacial policies, India would still be the same old poor country or worst.

Private lives of publec figures are not a concern if the people are not given bogus stories. Starting from Feroze Gandhi, everything was bogus and a lie. The worst ever prime minister India ever had was Jawaharlal. He did not even have a vision for few months ahead. He screwed up the country in more ways than a baboon could manage.

Rajiv married Sonia ( or what ever) in Italy, in a church. Church won't conduct a wedding without conversion to Christianity. I agree, a leader may belong to any religion of his/her choice... but when the truth is hidden from the public, it stinks.

the trouble is, most people know this; but most political 'leaders' are just greedy and selfish in India. India is developing not because of the 'leaders' but inspite of them.
