Dear Rajagopal

I've read a slight variation of this, wherein, the "last phase" is that of a monkey - with no roof over their heads
or permanent living place, hopping from tree to tree [ read offspring to offspring ], and eating whatever is thrown
at them, [ irrespective of whether what is thrown at them is chew-able / digestible ] holding on to the flimsiest of branches for support [ read memories ] and shunned by one and all for being a "primitive creature".

Things have just got worse for the monkeys as trees [ read offspring's abodes ] are spread across the world
and "hopping" nowadays means inter-continental flights, only to be placed in a sort of "quarantine" in each tree,
because the younger generation [ that have not yet entered the monkey phase] fear that the seniors will come
with communicable diseases from the jungle [ read native place ].

Somehow, I prefer the ending with the "monkey phase" - lack of sleep is an in-built characteristic of the "dog phase" itself and something that one used to long before entering the "monkey phase".
