I have already said in my reply that you have every right to say MY WIFE IS YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL.BUT IF YOU SAY IT WITH THE NEXT DOOR WIFE IS UGLY AND DEAD,BUT LOOK AT MY WIFE SHE IS YOUNG IN BEAUTIFUL,people will think that you dont have a balanced mind. That is what Sundaram Pillai did. That is why the Tamil scholars have put it in o the DUSTBIN.IT is does not have PORUT KUTRAM, it would have stayed there in the TAMIL THAI VAZTHTHU.

NOW TELL ME WHY DID THE TAMIL SCHOLARS DID BIN THAT LINE?
I don't know who the Thamizh scholars are that you are referring to. If it was an authentic removal, it might be due to sensitivity and accommodation. Personally I don't think it is ridiculing Sanskrit. It mentions in so many words that Sanskrit is out of vogue.

The word "sidaindu" can be taken to mean from one extreme to the other. At the innocuous end it means "gone" (sidaindadu idam tarum vAzhvu = a comfortable life has gone). At the other extreme you can discern a sense of damage (like an idol broken)
