Isn't 'sati' the previous avatar of Parvathi as per Hindu Tradition? wasn't she the one sacrified her self in the Fire after her father Dhaksa humiliated Lord Shiva by not inviting to the Yagna ?

Didn't she do immense penance to re-unite with Maheshwar for many years and finaly becomes his wife(parvathi) ?
