are you ok now?

I'm gonna watch it by this weekend. got the link to d/l It was creepy, but I was consciously trying to keep my head straight, not to be carried away and get scared.. its just a film its just a film like that. So you cant get a honest experience from me.

Ideally I watch horror films with an intent to be scared (chair'a irukki pidichikutu naan bayapada maatenu kanganam kattikitu padam paakradhula enna payan) but this time I was too scared to be scared.. especially since the first day I stepped into this house, the whole environment evokes memories of horror movies.

On the other hand, this movie does suffer from the eternal bane of horror films... you can only keep the suspense and x factor for so long. At some point of time you have to introduce the ghost and when you do that and try to make it more scary with makeup n special effects gimmicks, it becomes laugh stock (especially when you have watched all 4 scary movie sequels) you just cant keep the scare curve up all the time. This film totally avoids the latter n relies on building up the tension, but I felt it got tiring after a point.

One film which managed to get scarier and creepier as the film progressed was "The Shining". A must watch!!
