Did you mean Pacino in Angels of America in your second entry (Shylock in MoV is a good dramatic performance, some of its pleasures belongs to stage. And yeah it IS now being played in Broadway!)
Oh, I accidentally deleted, because it was supposed to read, "Pacino, Robin Williams - Insomnia). Shylock is the movie version.

Stan, yeah yours read like favourites. In fact, mine reads like that too. For example, like Thilak said, Eastwood's is far more haunting in Unforgiven, rather than MDB, or GR. I thought him in MDB was moving. But haunting? Not really.

But if you ask me most memorable, haunting, in my list, it has to be DDL in TWBB. Ledger comes close.
