Trishaw... I'd almost forgotten that delightful Sri Lankan word.

Muchchakkara vaNDi used to be used in TN as well (although most people say "aaTTO" ), but there has been a push in recent times to come up with better words and to get people to actually use them. "Thaani" is a lot easier to say than "muchchakkara vandi" and has the same nice ring to it as "auto". Podalai,
