Dear friends
I guess it was 1857.(vethanaygam pillai published ¦ÀñÒò¾¢Á¡¨Ä in 1869. so 1870 & 1877 r not acceptable.)

According to the handbook of tamil cuture & heritage, 'KamalaambaaL Chariththiram' was written by rajam iyer ( AKA Paridhi MaaR Kalaignar ???).
