YES IT IS. The Army has more money and is bigger so you have a much better chance. It needs more people so there are bonuses available for certain jobs. What you should be looking to get out of your reserve duty is, above all else, money. The money is not insubstantial for someone of your pay grade. Go for what you can get now.

No money differential is worth the difference between wearing an Eagle, Globe, and Anchor and not. That's fine for the Army bubbas and all respect to them but it's not fine for me.
