Naresh Iyer may not be most deserving but his was a good rendition. his voice was so velvety in that song especially when he sings the lines 'aandhiyon ki jagad rahi hai'.... I think the award is for his fresh voice than tough or complex singing....

Shreya Ghosal wins it for the second time... she always deserves it...

Haven't heard Sringaram... always they choose movie soundtracks with songs firmly based on indian classical music and hence this award... Will have to search for the Sringaram CD in music stores now....
