We are a tropical species. We are built for the heat.
As someone whose family has been in Canada since the 1700s, I disagree.
I can handle the cold, but I'm definitely not built for heat. You're the opposite.
It's not a matter of not handling it. I can survive without it. But why? It's much more comfortable to have it. And the cost of it isn't very high at all.
You may think 82F is fine, but I think it's hot. But similarly, 40F is T-shirt weather for me. I don't even consider a spring jacket til it dips below freezing. Somehow I think you'd find that uncomfortable.
