You're better off just saying he screwed up an obvious softball opportunity to gave a nice smooch to the British people and moving on. Which would have been nice give how poorly they've been treated by the current admin. The bright spot is that none of the people who follow the British press intently will be voting in the US election.

They haven't been poorly treated by the current administration. That's just a bullshitstorm whipped up by right wingers on a crusade to destroy Obama at all costs and their retarded followers.
