STD ( sexually transmitted disease ) is a class of infectious diseases, infectious diseases usually passed via sexual contact. They're grouped together because they have a specific epidemeologic feature in common. STDs include genital herpes, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonal vaginitis, LGV, chancroid and HIV infection.
