I am VERY glad they were absorbed into Israel. These people helped our country, they chose to be our allies and they should not be abandoned the way Barak had abandoned the Druze of South Lebanon.

Absolutly - how we abandoned our Maronite and other allies in southern Lebanon is a great shame. The silence of the media was scandalous too. How was this not the biggest and largest issue of the pull-back from Lebanon? We should have built up the SLA first before moving our own troops out. How can we expect to continue to build alliances with the other indigenous people of the middle east that are suffering from Arab colonialism if we abandon them to brown-nose our mutual enemies.... stupid. So stupid
