I don't think NSP has the party branding required to win a seat. At least, not yet.

Not just the brand name alone but factors add together, though brand name is a premier factor. You can put a lousy team under a good brand name like WP and it still won't win.

There is also a variety of brand name. NSP is generally a moderate brand name like SPP. Not like WP, but not like RP and SDA either. For PAP, they can win with a lousy team.

Look at the high profile SDP team in Bukit Timah clinching 40%, which is high for a damaged brand name. If the team was replaced with WP logo, it could have been 2 GRCs falling.

A team of Nicole, Hazel, Jeanette, Harn Ho and Noraini Bte Yunus will stand a good chance in Marine Parade, and it will be an all woman's team.
