So what is his alignment? It's rather unusual for someone to say, I support the opposition and hate the PAP, but when it comes to WP, I will bring up the PAP. Which will cost the opposition but with the WP possibly be the least affected.

Personal disdain is often harder to control than national interest.

A lot of people also confuse their interest in the nation with national interest.
