If Australians started to starve I'm sure the Australian government would be forced to step in and start blocking exports of food regardless of whether the farm is Australian or Chinese owned.

The only point I would make is that by producing wheat and then shipping it overseas doesn't incur the taxes that it would have had it been sold to an overseas company instead.
And on that day, we'll have to pick up Arms.
