While I must agree with Daevid about the security risk of attending the Sydney Forum, such exposure is an inevitable part of being in patriotic politics.

I think not!
If we were to fear the public spotlight we would achieve nothing, which is why the reds and Jews try to make us run and hide by persecuting us.
If someone aspires to be effective in politics in any way it is inevitable that they will have to come out from underneath their rock and stand in the spotlight.
The public will hardly be inclined to vote for someone whose name and face they do not know.
That is just part of politics.

What is worse, there were plenty of people who were stupid enough to do it.
