The discerning minority (of whom I am one) who use Mac do not have to worry about viruses, worms, trojans, spywear, 'trial' software, or firewall security breaches.
Apple put up a prize of $100,000 when it introduced OS X about six years ago for anyone who could get through the firewall and into the system.
The prize has not been claimed.
Best of all: NO MICROSOFT PRODUCTS REQUIRED.

Which means that the operating system and the applications all work beautifully.
Once you have tried Mac, you will never go back.
