i have talked to some phd holders and lecturers from NUS and universities here who are religious, usually asians, and when they are confronted about facts versus religions, their usual responses are either murky dog-chasing-tail about the bible is infallible coz it is god's words or... "just dont think too much, it is not good for you."

what gives? what kind of frigging advice is this?!
