Correction! You have made a typo-error. It should be writeen: the Bible is full of sin-hating messages. God hates sins - period. It have never God's intention to eliminate all His pride creation - The Human. Yes, there are stories (and many of them) of God destroy cities, kill people, and as we can see, the global flood of Noah's destroyed all but 8 people who were saved in the ark.

One must remember, the fact that today the world is so populated that many social scientists have come to the conclusion that the world is overpopulated. They warned that at the rate of population increase, there is not going to have enough resources to support the growing populations. I personally do not believe this in the sense that there are enough to meet all the basic needs of the world's population. The problem is because of human greed that we are destroying agriculture and farmland and together with industrial pollutions caused by irresponsible manufacturers and factories owners, greedy businessmen who manipulated food prices, we find ourselves having insufficient food or can ill afford them.

Coming to the population, the fact that there are now over 7 billion people - the biggest population that we now witnessed in the whole history of mankind, shows that God has never intended to destroy human. Quite to the contrary, He wants people, and though we are sinful, God still loves us dearly so much so that He was prepared to die for our sins in order for us to be redeem to His Kingdom. Read correctly: God did not die for us...for He died because of our sins.

Yes...He did kill many people, sometime He did Himself (like in Noah's ark) and sometimes He did by ordering His trusted commanders...but why....answer: Those people He killed did not deserve to live. Instead, they deserved to die. Their sins were so abhorring to Him that He simply has to administer His justice to the fullest, and that was to deliver the due capital punishments. He did this because He is righteous and if He just only turned His eyes away and treated as if nothing has happened, then He could not be a righteous and holy God. We must read the stories of God's destructions as mentioned in the Bible and use these as warnings to us. And only until we can fully realise this, we will never stop doing wicked and evil things.
" Those people He killed did not deserve to live. Instead, they deserved to die. Their sins were so abhorring to Him that ."
