What culture & Traditions do they have? Let's talk about that. The University system was invented by Muslims.

Al Azhar in Egypt was founded between 970CE and 972CE.

Al-Karaouine in Morocco founded 859CE

By contrast, the oldest European university was started in Bologna in 1088, Oxford in the late 11th century, the Sorbonne around 1160.

Many of the teachers in the early European university system were Arab. Henry the Navigator of Portugal derived the caravel ship which revolutionized European shipping from the already extant superior qarib design used by the Arabs. The lateen rig of that boat is still found in the dhows that roam the Persian Gulf.

While the Arabs may not have invented the number system we call Arabic today, it was they who transported that knowledge to Europe as well as preserving the Greek classics, the revival of which lead to the Renaissance. The major medical textbook used in Europe for centuries was written by a Muslim.

What astonishes me most shraven is that you can lie about Muslim history in the same fashion that the British lied about Hindu culture, belittling it and pretending there never was such a thing. By the time of Ghandi, even the Hindus were beginning to believe that.
