Let me say here again that I hate the Taliban and I hated Saddam and I'm no fan of the deposed Somali government. But these insurgiencies are to be expected.

You (and other Muslims) sure didn't utter a word as the Taliban and Saddam mass-murdered your fellow Muslims by the thousands or even by the hundreds of thousands. Why's that?

The reason we didn't have them after WWII is because we put many of the members of the deposed regiems to work in the new government.

No, the reason we have insurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan is that despite the best efforts of the West, as well as enormous sacrifice, the Muslim world is far too primitive to adapt to democracy.

In the West, many people believed foolishly that, if given the chance, the Muslim world would embrace freedom and productivity. Well, the results are here to see...
