Andak, the fight for Al-Qaida in Afghanistan is still on, with Canada, the UK and other Nato-backed forces. However, that doesn't stop massive rallies by Muslims and other anti-war activists against Nato's involvement in Afghanistan calling it a "war on Islam".
Massive rallies? What about the massive rallies against terrorism with thousands of Muslims marching down the streets of Amman and Casablanca?

The above example shows that it's so easy to hijack Islam, simply because there are direct commands in the Quran to behead, crucify and mutilate infidels. It may have been used in a different context, but you can't deny it exists. You could bring up the OT and the laws of Duetronomy, but these have been appended between 200-500 AD. You can't have it both ways. You can't argue half the time that Islam is easy to hijack and then argue that Islam hasn't been hijacked and that everything Al Qaida says are core beliefs. Either it was hijacked or it wasn't. I say it was hijacked, and once you admit that, you can't look upon me as though I hold views that I don't.
