Raed Salah to be deported "at the earliest opportunity." A sensible decision by the UK.

Pro-Palestinian activist Raed Salah is set to be deported from the UK after a court ruled on Wednesday that his removal would be conducive to the public good, according to a statement released by the UK Home Office on Thursday...

On Wednesday an immigration tribunal concluded that Salah has engaged in “the unacceptable behavior of fostering hatred” which might lead to inter-community violence in the UK.

The tribunal considered five pieces of evidence against Salah: A poem he had written; a speech in which he invoked a ‘blood libel’ slur against Jews; claims that Israel intends to destroy the al-Aqsa Mosque; the outstanding charges he currently faces in Israel for incitement to violence and anti-Semitism and his conviction for funding organizations linked to Hamas.

“We are satisfied that the appellant’s words and actions tend to be inflammatory, divisive, insulting and likely to foment tension and radicalism. They deal with issues which are highly sensitive in the context of the Israeli/Palestinian dispute,” the tribunal ruled. source: http://www.jpost.com/International/A...aspx?id=243430
