I can only hope that we will soon have a new President that will have the balls to stop dicking around with Musharaff, and do what needs doing.

Musharraf controls the military which controls Pakistan's nuclear arsenal. If the US weakens Musharraf, and a much weaker leader takes over, Pakistan could fall to the Islamic Extremists. The same thing happened in Iran, when "brain-dead" President Carter refused to back the Shah, allowing the Islamists to take over Iran.
