True, but in certain religions (in this day and age especially) there exists a correlation and this cannot be ignored. I remember reading an article by a Rabbi who exclusively converts Jews back to Judiasm, converting back Jews who were born Jews but converted to other religions. Anyhow, this Rabbi specifically said that even though the convert numbers are small, it is extremely difficult to convert Jews who converted to Islam back to Judaism b/c they are often extremely anti-west and and many in a short time had become radical. This Rabbi was by no means a bigot, he was merely stating his experience and it was very eye opening and interesting. I will try to find the article.

Well, Adam Yahiye Gadahn (born Adam Pearlman), the English-language spokesman for Al Qaeda, would certainly be a prime example of that. He is what I would term a terrorist and he was a convert to Islam.

So, yes, some converts do hate the west, and some do become terrorists, though I still think the latter are few.
