Is the christian world to blame that it allowed the holocaust to take place? Yes, more than Germany because the German people are no worse human beings than other nations of christian background. A lot is just geopolitical circumstances like the fact that Japan joined the Axis. In a parallel universe it could have been China. But Hitler rejected everything within christianity and found it but a weak religion. He had much more admiration for the force of islam. Christianity isn't an ethnic 'bound' belief like judaism and childbirth baptism can't make anyone a future saint. That's catholic nonsense.
Now I thought WW2 was not a religious war and as I remember, correct me if I'm wrong but it was actually Xian fighting men that liberated the camps that the Jews were held in. You are blaming all Xians because you are saying it could have been any of them if they had been put in the same situation. That is as ridiculous as Xians blaming you for the death of Jesus. There is enough dissinformation and religious bigotry doing the circuits without adding to it.
In a parallel universe it could have been the Jews in Jackboots and the Xians behind the wire so lets keep to this dimension shall we?
