I see your point but ill tell you this

If hitler was jewish and the nazis were jews and they invaded poland and they told the fellow jews your allowed to kill all the christians you want, what do you think would happen?
The jews would say WTF, the xhristians are are friends, why would we kill them, right? yes

But unfortunately it didnt work the other way around did it?

Power corrupts amd absolute power corrupts absolutely. Even Jews are guilty of that weakness unfortunately and since they never had the power in Germany we will never know the answer to that will we? Using our 21st century attitudes to suppose what people would have done 70 years ago in a hypothetical scenario is fail.
The same mistake is made by assuming that 21st century arabs think the way we do too.
