There are, from what I understand, 3 Iranian channels: IRIN, IRIB2 and IRIB3. The first 2 are nothing but Iranian culture ranging from doc's on Darius, Khomeini, news items from around the world, science, litterature, drama, etc. Damn fine programming.

The pro-Shah channels, like Tamasha, have a rant against the current gov't for about 3 hours followed by Gugosh and other cheasy music videos. That's it.

This really ain't new from the previous cartoons i.e. Hezbullah: Soldiers of Allah (awj), the Martyr, the Iranian and the Turk, etc. etc.

Anyone watch Zahra's blue eyes. I recorded the movie if anyone wants to see it.

There are many many more Iranian channels worldwide. I can name at least 5 Iranian channels broadcasting just from Los Angeles alone.
