Default Next Act of Terror May be Nuclear
FWIW there have been a total of 14 convictions related to the entirety of the application of PATRIOT. Of them, 12 were on charges related to funding and indirect type support. No one quibbles with the need to do 'something' but we're still wondering if this is the way. After all, even in the UK, the World Leader in survellience cameras, all that extra security hasn't prevented anything. It's made forensic work easier but it hasn't prevented anything. So in the case of a nuclear attack on the US, we're talking about forensice work as well. But realistically, what does that matter? Do we seriously think that the US will wait for a forensic examination in that case? I don't.
