I mean, wouldn't the range this effect could be observed to be something like the amplitude of the slit/s divided by the frequency of the photon,,, or something like that??
The interference pattern is the result in the phase difference in the waveform coming from each slit. The phase difference is due to the difference in distance (relative to the wavelength of the waveform) between the particular slit and the point on the screen where the photon strikes.
