Radio National drove me to not listening to anything except a few selected programs and generally by podcast rather than by listening to the radio. The severe drop in interesting or investigative programs that started this year and a sharp rise in rubbish with "pop" type presenters just annoys so much I stopped listening altogether. Interestingly enough the move to the current format seems to have started when they dropped the "Religion Report" (which was interesting and not at all spiritual) at almost no notice a couple of years ago causing, Stephen Crittenden to resign. It finished when they axed all the useful morning content gave me an extra half hour of "the voice with sundry talking heads" every morning.
