So everyone says it is eradicated you are showing your lack of microbiological perspective

Although patients remain infectious until the last scabs fall off, the large amounts of virus shed from the skin are not highly infectious. kill rate ~1%... not 100% nor 30%....

I am not going to give you a course in microbiology..... of course you understand scientific terminology is not easily understood by lay

Where do you think bugs, in this case Variola sp came from ?
Smallpox, which is believed to have originated over 3,000 years ago in India or Egypt, do you think it just popped into existence 3,000 years ago ??
