Lets be a bit more flexible Buddha didnt teach the alaya because it was too hard for most beings but i am totally convinced it was mentioned.personally if theres no life after death just maximise it why become a recluse!!!!!

Sorry, but I'm confused, Alfred, who are you addressing in this post ? Please also give a reference of where alaya consciousness is mentioned by the Buddha.

Who has mentioned becoming a recluse - or are you just making a general statement ?
