I'm sorry, I guess I worded that wrong.
What I meant was more to say, that our daily lives and our practice should be of a concern to us as both regard what/ where our next rebirth would be.
I don't really understand how someine who is a Buddhist wouldn't want to believe in rebirth unless one believes they will achive Enlightenment in this life time. Which has happened according to the scriptures. Unless one chooses not to believe there is anything after this existence.
Or they are a Pure Land practitioner, who believes that with proper meditation and chanting they are reborn in a Pure Land.
