Any speech that encourages people to do something to improve the quality of life of others mostly in social, economic, health, education skills disadvantage is welcome. Also this approach is needed for the wealth of everybody.

This current capitalist system is collapsing. Using the analogy of massive extinctions like the one of the dinosaurs, little simple ways of living are developing here and there taking knowledge from ancient indigenous cultures brought into the present in organized social systems using regional resources, like those small primitive mammals that developed successfully after the demise of dinosaurs.

About Tolle, I have never read about him or any of his teachings.

However, it seems that this young woman has a different approach about living the present moment. In my understanding, the present moment happens in a peaceful mind, in a still mind, open, sensible and mindful.

To live the present moment is not a singularity or a stagnation aloof from our surroundings. On the contrary. The present moment, due to a peaceful mind, is a dynamic dimension where deep understanding of things is happening all the time -while the present moment endures- without the taints of mental fabrication, without the delusion of the self.

So, I acknowledge the commitment she is asking to improve the live of others but I can't tell about Tolle or what she has understood from his writings.
