Compassion and wisdom as far as I know does not play with two different sides of the same truth...

Compassion & wisdom discriminate. For example, due to wisdom & discrimination, one may respond differently to the same question asked by a child and by a professor. Also, wisdom & compassion may speak in a way the leaves the final understanding to the listener. Thus, the wise say: "False speech does not arise in the Teacher."
